We are Zak and Jenny, the co-founders of Amado. What started as a simple favour to help a family member clear their wardrobe soon became something much bigger.

How we work

Over the past four years, we have been building Amado from our hometown of Brighton, driven by a passion for making beautiful, high-quality fashion more accessible while championing a more sustainable way to shop.

We work closely with a select network of trusted private clients, sourcing exceptional pieces directly from their wardrobes to provide our customers with curated collections of authentic, pre-owned fashion. Knowing exactly where every item comes from gives us complete confidence in its authenticity.

Helping our clients find new homes for exceptional pieces, and connecting them with customers who will love them for years to come.

Authenticity, guaranteed

Every piece passes through our hands. We know where it has been, who it belonged to, and what it took to get it ready for resale. We do not list anything we would not happily wear ourselves, and we sell every item anonymously on behalf of the client it came from.
